Zulfikhar Shaikh (Zulfi) 

Zulfikhar Shaikh is a ‘self-taught’ Artist, Photographer, Video Editor and Graphic Designer.

“I started my career in media industry in the year 2000 as a hand-artist in Mumbai. From there  my journey began and i started exploring different  medias as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor and Photographer. And in 2005, I stepped into the arab world, ‘DUBAI’,  After owning a decade of experience in different media along with different companies,I felt that I had left something behind. I was so deeply entangled in the techno world that I almost forget  I  was  a  self-taught  hand-artist. The  real  passion  in me which I left behind was hand-artistry. And that was the turning point in my life where i realized that I had to bring my old hidden passion of watercolor art. Balancing photography, videography, editing, art and teaching, I hope that my work reflects the joy and passion that I  bring to every aspect of my life. This is the  first book  in my career  as a watercolorist. It is a book of paintings inspired from arab architecture which I watercolored in Ramadan Series 2018. I hope my book will be inspirational for you.
